Trick or Treat

Holly and I have had a go at making some simple trick or treat bags. She enjoyed making these and is excited about giving them away. (Anything to stop the holiday blues and the constant I'm bored comments.) Although after yesterday where we did pumpkin carving and then my craft goodies were attacked by 3 children...... we'll lets just say my blood pressure is now normal but spent along time cleaning stamps and tidying up after them!!!( I'm very particular about my stamps being cleaned after being used lets just say that didn't happen yesterday.)

We used orange paper and my inkadinkado All Hallows Eve stamp set. I'm sure the children will be more intereted in the goodies inside hence that's why we didn't spend to long on them. See you all soon Nicky & Holly.

I made this card for Clare and family as they moved house today. I've been looking after her girls while they have moved but to be honest they are looking after Holly while I craft!!

My new stamp set

I just love my new stamp set & couldn't wait to have a go with them. So made this birthday card, which I love.

I used: Junkitz - flower.ful Dots & monochrome green. Red bit was from my scrap box.

Red button from collection (which seems to be growing!!).

Squiggle Stamps - Daisy & Toadstools, Bird Flourish & Too Tweet ( inside card).

Easel Card

Spotted an example of an easel card on another site so thought I would have a go at it. I really like this card.... but this one has taken a while, but now I know what I am doing it should be easy!!!! Just a little different from the square card.

I used Paper - My Minds Eye - Wild Asparagus, Purple paper from stash, Tilda - Lapland, Woodware circular greetings (all words), Butterfly stamp is one in my collection, Ribbon from Hobbycraft, Nestabilities - Label 1 and flowers / brads are from my craft stash.

Quick Birthday Card

This card was made out of bits of scrap paper on my desk and an image I coloured in a while ago but never got round to using. It was a quick make for a party my daughter went to.

Not sure of any of the papers used but did use my Martha Stewart punch and my stampin up punch & ribbon. ( sorry colour isn't very good on this image I think it may be where I took the photo!!) Nicola

Happy Halloween & cupcake challenge

This card was a bit of a play around with a Magnolia stamped image I had along with my new halloween stamps. I had a go at cutting out the cobwebs and printing images behind them but the photo doesn't show it that well. (pumpkins at bottom & spider at top) Also had a go at shrink plastic which I never really seem to get on with!!

I used: Papers - Bo Bunny Press - Pumpkins & Pumpkin Plaid. Inkadinkado clear stamp set - All Hallows Eve. Tilda image. Chatterbox orange ribbon & cream shrink plastic for sign. Quiet like the finished card but not sure whether it would have worked better on a dark card rather than cream? Hugs Nicola xxx

Busy weekend making quick cards as also made this one for husbands parents wedding anniversary.

Unfortunately photo isn't that good as washed out the colours, but I used:

Sarah Kay stamp. Dasiy bucket design paper - Love you (true love) blue paper and reverse co ordinating paper pink with swirl. Other papers were scrap bits from a small pile I have Stamping up Scallop circle punch but added small circles to every other scallop. Stampin up circle punch (one and quarter inch) Woodware Circular greeting clear stamp for sentiment.

A quick card that I have made for my Uncle for his birthday. He is a very keen fisherman.

I used: Label 1 nestabilities. Bear stamp set. My minds eye asparagus paper (dotty paper). Foof-a-La Autumn leaves paper. Coloured in using watercolour pencils.

No more envelope stuffing so will now have plenty of time to craft more!!! Nicola xxx
